New technologies usually struggle to achieve market acceptance and profitability. This is especially true of alternative energy and energy efficiency innovations, which face an uphill battle against lower-cost, well-established technologies with existing infrastructure. Further complicating matters is the difficulty of explaining how the new systems work and how they can benefit both society and individual consumers.
LHB Communications has supported the communications programs of major organizations toward the goal of increasing public awareness of the benefits of energy efficiency, “green” buildings, and other new technologies. Through work with such leading national organizations as the Electric Power Research Institute, the National Association of Home Builders, Edison Electric Institute, the Urban Land Institute, and others, LHB has produced numerous articles, news media events, videos, newsletters, white papers, conference presentations, and more – all contributing toward America’s slow but steady transition to sustainability.
