Amenities include a pool, sundeck, tennis court, fitness center, clubhouse, cyber lounge, pavilion and picnic areas, and a “bark park.”
Washington REIT has leased a full floor (13,000 square feet) at the historic Army Navy Building in the heart of Washington, DC to a major national nonprofit organization. The 109,000 SF LEED Gold certified building is now 71 percent leased to a variety of prestigious tenants. At the same time, Washington REIT is completing a thoughtful $4 million renovation that has created a VIP tenant amenity in previously under-utilized space.
Bethesda, MD-based Washington Property Company (WPC) has leased commercial kitchen space in the former home of Progress Place in downtown Silver Spring, MD to a nonprofit culinary training program offered by STEP (Service workers Training & Education Partnership). STEP is a joint benefit fund operated by Local 23 of the international labor union UNITE HERE in partnership with employers such as Aramark, Sodexo, and Compass Group.
